MOP Receives HIV Hospice
Another beneficiary of the VHFF is Missionaries of the Poor (MOP), the Jamaica based charity founded by Father Richard HoLung. In 2004, the VHFF awarded MOP a grant of JA$12,505,000 to build a hospice created especially to provide a quality of life refuge for single mothers suffering with AIDS. The hospice will also serve other terminally ill destitute adults who are about to make their transition.
